We have a very special course that is designed specifically for teenagers’ needs. If you’re having trouble explaining the importance of eating more healthily to your child and need some help with getting the message across in the right manner, then this is where we can help! Due to demand and after a very successful trial, we discovered that many parents welcome the idea of introducing their teenage children, who have typically acquired a few bad habits, to some harsh truths about the foods they love so much and the vices of alcohol and smoking that some parents struggle to explain to their children.
During this 2-day – overnight course your child(ren) will learn all about the foods they regularly like to eat and what it is doing to them; how to make healthy food interesting and tasty; and will discover the realities about the farming industry and the perils of their produce and what to look out for. The course engenders a responsibility within the participant to pay closer attention to where his or her food is actually coming from, and encourages questions to be asked.
All participants will learn how to prepare delicious healthy and raw meals and also learn how to set up a kitchen so that they will find it easy to continue the practices they develop from taking part. Your child will begin to view different ingredients with a more conscious perspective and not simply base his or her choice of food on the flavour of it. Combatting typical teenage health complaints such as acne, mood swings, attention deficit, and lethargy are main components to the course.
Your teenager’s stay is fully catered for, and groups stay small to provide maximum attention to each participant.
