In today’s day, we are now seeing even more cases of the worst types of diseases such as Heart Disease, all types of Cancers, Diabetes, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Osteoporosis and Arthritis, and the list just seems to increase almost as quickly as the number of cases of each disease multiplies, and the rates of both do not seem to be abating. So we ask ourselves how and why have we got to this position and what can be done?
To answer the question of how things have got so bad, we need only look at the trends from the last 100 years and although there are many changing factors that have taken place during the last century, there emerges a clear and outright culprit; the foods we consume.
Dietary habits, cooking preparation methods and family time with freshly prepared produce without preservatives and other harmful chemicals are what have changed dramatically, and the correlation between this and the amount of people being diagnosed with dreadful diseases is staggering.
The number of deaths attributable to these diseases is so high and no-one is unaffected, for everyone has been or is a patient of them, or knows someone close to him or her who is also suffering with illness.
The trouble is, how do we treat it more successfully than we are currently doing? We are told the pharmaceutical industry is at the forefront of medical science and is religiously working on cures for all of these ailments.
