Cancer

…what it is, and how we can eradicate it.

An entire page has been dedicated to cancer, and holistic cancer therapy options, because of its already huge and increasing prevalence in society today.

With a diagnosis of cancer of a loved one comes a whole host of emotions and a rollercoaster of an experience particularly for those caring for the patient directly. It can be a terribly traumatic time for all, not least of all, the patient. When presented with a dire prognosis, where does one turn? Who can you talk to? Who can give you the advice you need to get better? Who can explain all the facts about cancer? And who can treat you and help you to overcome cancer altogether?

Your oncologist, right?

In medicine today, there are many factors which have a bearing on the types of treatments on offer and on the way in which we are informed of the necessary information we demand in our individual quests to be restored to full health.

All over the world, each day, the sad news of being diagnosed with incurable cancer is delivered to patients and their families alike.

It is a devastating time that no one wishes to experience.

A very interesting thing to always reflect upon is who said it is ‘incurable’? In most cases it is a medical oncologist.

Definitions

Incurable

in·cur·a·ble

adjective

1.

(of a sick person or a disease) not able to be cured.

synonyms:   untreatable, inoperable, irremediable;

noun

1.

a person who cannot be cured.

synonyms: cureless – irremediable – remediless

Medical Oncologist

meh·dih·kul on·kah·loh·jist

noun

1.

A doctor who specialises in diagnosing and treating cancer using chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, biological therapy, and targeted therapy.

So, if we amalgamate the two definitions, we get ... 'An inability to cure an individual’s cancer using chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, biological therapy and targeted therapy.' This isn’t meant to detract from the authority of the medical oncologist, but the fact is disease and illness can be healed in many different ways.” - Vanessa Wyder, Cancer Researcher

What if there were cures for cancer, real cures that existed today? Cures that were completely natural? Cures that were simple to administer? What if they were inexpensive and simple to shop for? Cheap to produce? Cures that caused no physical harm to the patient, but only made him or her stronger and healthier? How would this be received by the public at large? How would this be received by the medical establishment and the pharmaceutical industry? Great!… right? For, they would have found the answers to so many of our problems. They would be able to save the lives of hundreds of thousands of people all over the world; do away with the pain and suffering caused by chemotherapy and radiotherapy; spare all the anguish caused to the patients and their loved ones; enable them to enjoy the remainder of their lives being healthy and happy; save those people from the exorbitant expense of cancer. They would be the saviours of today, tomorrow and the next few decades… and they would be bankrupt!

Pharmaceutical companies depend on our ill-health for their income. It does not take a scientist to calculate that if there were no diseases left in this world then there would be no use for the millions of drugs that are produced by the industry. Alas the more ill we are the more money they make. It is no surprise that the incidents of cancer keep rising and “nothing” can be done to control the numbers. More and more people are being diagnosed each year and the statistics on treating them become worse and worse. We seem to hear frequently that “more people are being cured each year”, but does it count when several many times more people are killed each year from the disease or the treatment, or both? We have to face the facts; cancer is now affecting more than 1 in 3 of us, which means that we are all going to be affected by cancer either directly or through someone we know and love and it will not be a pleasant experience. Certainly if Big Pharma has anything to do with it.

Disease Type

Cancer is what is known as a Chronic Metabolic Disease

“The definition of a chronic disease is one that usually doesn’t pass away of its own accord.

A metabolic disease is one that forms inside the body and one that is not transmittable to another person. Cancer therefore is defined as a Chronic Metabolic Disease. In the entire history of medical science there has not been one chronic metabolic disease that was ever cured or prevented by drugs or mechanical manipulation of the body.

In every case the ultimate solution was found only in factors relating to adequate nutrition. And this is an important clue as to where to concentrate our scientific curiosity in the search for a better understanding about cancer.”

G. Edward Griffin ~ Author, World Without Cancer

An oncologist frequently is asked “How did I get my tumour?” Almost every time the response back from the doctor shall be that it is “unknown”. This invariably leaves the layperson thinking that his or her acquisition of cancer was an unfortunate occurrence that has ‘come out of the blue’ and is random. This is most definitely not the case. In each and every case of cancer it is impossible for cancer to appear ‘out of the blue’ by virtue of the definition of what a chronic metabolic disease is; it therefore certifies that cancer is acquired over a given period of time.

Unfortunately, orthodox medicine necessitates that in order for doctors to attribute cancer to something, they must be capable of labelling a direct cause. However, with cancer being a disease that develops over time and as a result of several more subtle factors in the body, it lessens the doctors’ abilities to point the finger at one specific thing and regrettably they are unable to comment. This then leads them to pursue the idea that the cancer itself is the cause, when in fact the tumour is actually the resulting consequence of an underlying problem.

So how is cancer acquired? Well, as cancer is formed inside the body, one has to question what environment can cause cancer to proliferate and forge tumours that can kill the host. And it is when we ask this important question that we begin to find the essential answers. Cancer cells are similar to normal cells in some ways because they once began as normal cells, but that is essentially where the similarities end. Cancer cells live differently from our regular cells and cannot possibly survive in an environment which is suitable to healthy cells. Thus, it stands to reason that if we can recreate the ‘healthy’ environment around the cancerous cells that the cancer cells would rapidly die off.

This then begs the question 'how did the internal environment become so cancer-friendly in the first place?'

To answer this we need to examine what we are doing in our lives that might impact our health. Sure, stress, environment, mobile phones, radiation from urban living, trauma, belief systems and the like all are important, but what is something that we as humans, typically do on a daily basis, several times a day that can directly affect our bodies?

The answer: We eat.

Eating is the primary facet of how we condition or damage our insides, but it is also heavily misunderstood, though not through any faults of our own essentially. Knowledge on how our bodies operate was typically reserved for scholars of biology, but it is something that as generations go on and disease becomes more prevalent we all need to start paying attention to in far greater detail.

There are two methods to dealing with disease:
Treat the Symptoms

Conventional medicine typically opts for the latter of these two approaches. When tackling a tumour the current protocol undertaken by the medical establishment is what is referred to as Slash/Burn/Poison, otherwise known as Surgery, Irradiation, Chemotherapy. What these processes do is attempt to zap the cancer with all their might in the hope that they will ‘destroy the enemy’. And this is not done without harm to the patient whose immune system is already en route to being compromised.

The tumour will often be affected by this onslaught but far more often than not, the patient will suffer tremendously also, many times dying long before the treatment is even completed. Treating the symptom means dealing only with what the problem is on the surface, leaving the root cause still very much unaddressed. The practice of using chemotherapy and radiotherapy as anti-cancer agents is one that essentially has no regard for what other problems may arise as a consequence of the treatment, and with no plan of action to prevent the disease coming back in the minority of cases where the treatment does manage to effect a change in the size of the tumour.

Treat the Cause

Treating the cause is something that happens organically with a holistic cancer treatment approach. The holistic approach is one that takes into consideration the patient ‘as a whole’ and not just single out the ailment that is the focus, and so just by virtue of considering the patient as whole, will you automatically begin to steer towards the cause, for you will not eradicate an issue if there is an underlying problem, and the problem shall only return again and again.

An analogy would be of performing liposuction on an obese individual or changing the diet to bring about the desired change. One method masks the problem and the other rectifies it. Performing liposuction or fitting a gastric band may take pounds off the person in the short term but unless the person alters his or her eating habits, the same unhealthy person remains and ultimately the fat shall return.

For cancer patients, it is important to understand that cancer is caused by nutritional deficiencies. These are precipitated primarily by poor diet but also, heavy variables such as stress levels and exposure to factors that harm the body, such as radiation. These ‘outside’ factors strip the cells of their ability to absorb nutrients through the cell walls and expel waste as is required for healthy cellular respiration. Therefore attacking a tumour with chemotherapy or radiotherapy or even by having it removed in its entirety – while it may take away the problem in the immediate term – the resounding nutritional deficiencies remain and thus the patient will likely develop cancer again at a later stage in life (particularly if having undergone chemo and radiotherapy, which will have placed an even heavier burden on the cells to recover and remove toxic waste).

Correcting these problems at the source with holistic cancer treatment, i.e reintroducing back into the diet what exactly is missing, will not only cause the cancer cells to melt away – as they are targeted specifically by the immune system which grows stronger – but also ensures that the cancer shall not return as it simply cannot thrive in an environment which does not support its way of life.

Note:

While cutting out all the foods that cancer loves will no doubt be beneficial it will not be enough to halt the rapidly multiplying cancerous cells. One needs to meet the tumour with a plan of action that is as strong as and even more so than the cancer itself, if the battle is to be won.

Proviso

It is important to note when treating cancer with alternative therapy that it depends entirely on the type and stage of cancer that determines which measures are employed to treat it.

All too often people with diagnoses of cancer use alternative therapy, but without the correct guidance they quite easily construct a program for themselves that is not strong enough in its effectiveness – albeit still a good base for fighting cancer – and when the cancer continues to grow, the alternative therapy is thought of in a bad light. The truth is, the alternative method DID work – just that on its own and not employed correctly was not effective enough. An example of this would be cutting out all the ‘bad’ foods but not including ALL the right ones and in the right combinations.

Cancer can be defeated today, but only as long as we can ensure our bodies receive the necessary armour to fight the battle. Just as scurvy was once widespread, until it was discovered that a simple vitamin (Vitamin C) was missing from the diets of those who had passed, cancer too shall one day be presented to the population as something that took us generations to understand when the answer was very simple indeed and right under our noses all along.
